Filigrana is an Italian term for the fine parallel white lines that form the decoration on our initial collection of handblown glass vessels. Originally developed by the glassblowers on Murano during the Renaissance, the filigrana technique has become a hallmark of skilful. handblown glass throughout the world and is impossible to replicate with modern mechanical production methods.
