About

Scott Benefield and Andrea Spencer are Benefield Spencer Glass. Established in 2010, our studio operates from an old farm property on the rugged north Antrim coast just outside of the village of Ballintoy in Northern Ireland.

All of our work is designed, produced and finished in our studio entirely by hand. This limited production is made by combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, with the end result being objects that have the tool marks and slight irregularities of handmade goods but adhere to the highest standards of finish.

Care and handling of your handblown glass

Although our glass is durable and suited to everyday use, it is not recommended that any handblown glass be put in the dishwasher or the microwave. Avoid contact with boiling liquids or any extremely high temperatures. To clean, wash with warm, soapy water and towel dry.

A word about our packaging

No plastics (bubble wrap, polystyrene peanuts) are used in our packaging. All of our loose fill is either wood wool from sustainable sources or recycled newsprint, and all of our other packaging (boxes and sleeves) are made from 100% recyclable materials.
